DESCRIPTION:
Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn., C.1850, 8-day fusee time/strike shelf clock.
CONDITION:
stripped rosewood veneered case in clean condition. Door frame surround with wear appears to have been gold painted over the original gilding. Original painted dial with some scratches has loss at the mounting screws, winding arbors and the center area. Hands are replacements. Movement is signed, and there is a good label on the rear. Ht 13.5"
